Steps
- Gather all tools, Miyoo Mini+, and Better Buttons for Miyoo Mini+

- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove the battery. Be careful when unplugging the battery, as the JST receptacle can be fragile.

- Remove 6 screws from the back of the device and put aside.

- Use guitar pick to separate the halves of the shell. Slide the pick along the gap to unclip the two sides.
- Set the front of the console aside. Make sure to not lose the power button or the volume rocker.

- Using a small flathead screwdriver or spudger, pry up the stock buttons. Place the tool in the small gap next to the clips and rotate.
- There is a small tab that will retain the buttons in the shell once they’re unclipped. You may need to gently flex the buttons in order to free this tab from the shell.
- Remove all the stock buttons like this and place aside.

- Install each of the Better Buttons
- Angle the D side of the button into the gap, then rotate so that the clip is aligned.
- Place clip bar on the clip in the shell and make sure that the tab on the bottommost edge of the button is inside the shell.
- Press clip bar into clip until it seats.
- Test out each button to make sure they’re installed correctly. They should wiggle slightly. If one feels stuck, it’s possible the tab is jammed. Uninstall and try again.

- Slide on one spring to each of the posts on the bottom of the Buttons.

🆘 If you’re having too much trouble with the springs or prefer a button with less feedback, you can leave them out. Everything will still work!
