Process
Removing the Stock Buttons
- Place the Miyoo Mini on a table with the back up. Put something soft under it to avoid scratching the screen.
- Remove the battery door and battery. Carefully unplug the battery from the JST connector if you have a later version of the Mini.
- I recommend pulling on the wires, as the connector on the device is very fragile.
- Unscrew the 6 screws on the back of the Mini. There are four at the corners and two in the battery compartment
- Remove the back cover and put the front aside.
- Remove the stock buttons by pressing inwards from the outside to dislodge the clips. Do this for all four buttons.
- If you find this difficult, you can use a small flathead screwdriver to loosen the button from the clip, using the flathead as a lever underneath the bar of the button.
